1) Notice the physical changes in your body like weight gain, weight loss, sunken eyes, swelling or any other major or minor changes .you can take the measurement to know your body is changing.
2) Find the reason of change
Some allergic foods or drinks cause’s allergies, inadequate sleep can lead to weight gain and even weight loss at times. Stress, of course, is the root cause of all health problems.

These three Doshas are found in everything and everyone with different proportions. The particular ratio of VATA, PITTA and KAPHA affects our physical, mental and emotional characteristics.

Dosh
Sign and symptoms of increased VATA
Nervousness, anxiety, spasm.
Constipation, gas, bloating, dry hard stool.
Difficulty tolerating loud noise.
Excess thinking or worrying.
Low body weight.
Dislike of cold and wind.
Diet to be avoided
Foods those are bitter, astringent and pungent.
Dry and light food e.g. Popcorns.
Foods that are cooling both energetically and in temp.
Too much of raw food specially in the morning and evenings.
Cold and carbonated drinks.
Deep fried foods.
Hard alcohol.
Diet to be taken to reduce VATA
Foods which are sweet , sour and salty in taste.

Sign and symptoms of increased PITTA
Red inflamed rash, acne, cold sores.
Acute inflammation in body or joints.
Nausea discomfort upon missing meals.
Frustration anger, irritability, impatience.
Acid reflux gastric peptic ulcers.

Foods that are pungent and sour.
Chillies and peppers.
Deep fried food.
Eating fresh fruit or Drinking fruit juice within ½ hour of any other food.
Red meat.

Foods that are naturally sweet , bitter and astringent.
Most beans.
Dairy if you digest it well but avoid drinking milk with your meals .
Cooling herbs like coriander, cardamom, fennel.
Sign and symptoms of increased KAPHA
Excess mucous.
Thick white tongue coat.
High body weight.
Difficulty rising in morning.
Felling dull lethargic.
Easily attached or possessive.
Overly sentimental
Stubborn.
Diet to be avoided
Foods that is sweet and sour.
Heavy and oily foods (cheese, pudding, nuts, cake).
Cold and carbonate drinks.
Read meat.
Deep fried foods.
Overeating or eating heavy meals.
Diet to be taken to reduce kAPHA
Foods that are pungent bitter or astringent.
Heating spices like chilli or black pepper, ginger cinnamon and cumin.
Honey.
Whole freshly cooked food.
Lots of veggies.
Only room temperature or warm things.
Most beans mung dal.
